World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2009 Highlights
The 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event was huge for PokerStars qualifiers and Team PokerStars Pro. Joe Cada won the title and an incredible $8,547,042 in prize money. Also making the final table were Eric Buchman and qualifier Kevin Schaffel, with Dennis Phillips and 2008 Champion Peter Eastgate also making deep runs. Elsewhere in the series, there were bracelet wins for Jason Mercier and Angel Guillen.
